Intertainer Inc. will team with the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) to develop enhanced, interactive content for viewers of programs over televisions and personal computers.

The agreement brings a wide array of historical documentaries, children's educational series and informative special broadcasts to Intertainer's program line-up.

Selected programs will offer enhanced TV functionality using HTML. Uniquely, Intertainer-based enhanced TV shows feature the capability to allow the viewer to pause the TV program, gather more information, play learning games, view study guides or make a related purchase, and resume the show where he left off.
