INTERTAINER HIGHLIGTS ENTERTAINMENT-ON-DEMAND
PERSONAL PROGRAMMING STRATEGY AT NATIONAL CABLE TRADE SHOW

Ill. -- (June 15, 1999) -- Intertainer, Inc., the first interactive
broadband network, unveiled the company's umbrella content strategy
in conjunction with a powerful lineup of additional programming
agreements this week.
During a press conference at the National Cable Television Association
annual meeting, Intertainer executives announced that the company
has achieved its goal to develop a complete broadband network with
representative programming from across all areas of popular culture.
New agreements with Disney Channel, Twentieth Century Fox, ESPN
Sony Music and PBS, which were announced separately, round out Intertainer's
comprehensive programming portfolio.
"Our approach to programming is to provide relevant entertainment-on-demand
for every subscriber," said Jonathan Taplin, Intertainer's co-founder
and co-chief executive officer. "Intertainer's entertainment heritage
and rapidly growing list of carefully selected content providers
- coupled with increasing understanding of broadband among industry
leaders - made this the right time to reveal the 'big picture' of
what it means to provide true entertainment-on-demand."

The content from broad content categories is featured on Intertainer's
on-demand broadband network in eight sub-networks of eight channels
each. Sub-networks include movies, music, concerts, kids, living
well, shopping, books and television. Channels in various sub-networks
include segments such as Top 40, New Bands, Jazz, Country, Drama,
Comedy, Action, Foreign, Food/Wine, Wellness among others.
Since its inception three years ago, Intertainer has earned the
programming rights to over 50,000 titles from nearly 50 media companies.
The Intertainer service is available to both cable and telco distribution
partners.
