Western Show - a leading cable industry event in Anaheim, California
this week - Concurrent Computer Corporation (NASDAQ:CCUR)
announced today that Intertainer, Inc. selected the MediaHawk Video
Server to deploy its interactive entertainment-on-demand applications
to cable customers who receive the service directly to their televisions.
Intertainer selected the MediaHawk Video Server to begin application
development for delivery of the service to next-generation digital
set-top boxes like the Scientific-Atlanta ExplorerÒ 2000, also
announced at the Western Show. The MediaHawk Video Server
features scalable, open system architecture, superior price
performance, and system administration tools.
