Consumer Marketing Pro Brings Twelve Years of High-Profile Advertising
Agency and Technology Experience to Entertainment on Demand Leader
as Nationwide Deployments Escalate

CITY, Calif., Aug. 13, 2001 - Intertainer, the entertainment on
demand broadband network, has appointed Stephen Condon to the post
of Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Condon is responsible
for spearheading Intertainer's customer acquisition and retention
efforts and brand development. Condon will manage Intertainer's
internal marketing staff, as well as external resources, in the
execution of advertising, direct marketing, promotions, and public
relations campaigns. His appointment comes as Intertainer prepares
for its largest consumer marketing effort to date, with campaigns
supporting launches in six new cities this month alone. Condon reports
to Intertainer President and COO Stephen Ste. Marie.
Condon's marketing career includes account direction experience
with such notable advertising agencies as J. Walter Thompson, Chiat/Day
and Campbell-Ewald. During his two-year tenure with Campbell-Ewald,
Condon was responsible for supervising the agency's consumer and
trade launch campaign on behalf of DIRECTV. In this capacity, Condon
launched one of the hottest selling products in the history of consumer
electronics, managing the development of numerous television, print
and radio campaigns. Condon's strategies were so successful he was
invited to join DIRECTV in 1996. As Senior Director of Marketing,
he focused on national and regional customer acquisition, retention
and upsell campaigns. He was instrumental in implementing extremely
successful programming and packaging upsell strategies that resulted
in substantial increases in subscriber revenue. Recently, Condon's
technology experience includes the most senior marketing positions
with streaming media solutions providers INTERVU (recently acquired
by Akamai) and GMV Network.
