INTERTAINER PROMOTES CHRIS DORR TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING
CULVER CITY, Calif., January 9, 2002 -- Intertainer, the entertainment
on demand broadband service, today announced the promotion of Chris
Dorr to Senior Vice President, Programming. In his new position,
Dorr will oversee Intertainer's end-to-end programming process,
including building and managing relationships with new and existing
content providers, programming the service, and supervising the
operations and programming personnel. Intertainer is the leader
in video on demand content aggregation, with unprecedented relationships
with the major movie studios, record labels, and cable and broadcast
networks, as well as many other content providers.
Dorr joined Intertainer in May 2000 as Vice President, Original
Content, and transitioned to Vice President, Programming Operations
last fall. Prior to his tenure at Intertainer, Dorr spent nearly
15 years producing films for several independent film companies
and major Hollywood studios. Most recently, he spent four years
serving as co-president of Scott Free Productions, where he produced
feature films and television series, including "Where the Money
Is" and "Clay Pigeons." Dorr has also held positions
as a production executive with Bedford Falls, Universal Pictures
and Touchstone, where he shepherded such films as "Problem
Child" and "Dead Poets Society."
