nCUBE, Intertainer and Microsoft TV Demo Joint VOD Solution On Motorola's DCT 5000 at Western Show Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 28, 2000 - nCUBE, the pre-eminent provider of scalable media streaming infrastructure, Intertainer, the entertainment on demand broadband network, and Microsoft TV announced today the integration of nCUBE's Video-on-Demand Client for the Microsoft TV environment with the Intertainer entertainment on demand service. By leveraging the capabilities of the Microsoft TV Advanced software and the Motorola DCT 5000, nCUBE and Intertainer have created an application that allows consumers to browse Intertainer's extensive on-demand content offerings in a visually rich environment. The nCUBE/Intertainer/Microsoft TV application will be on display throughout the Western Show in Los Angeles from November 29 - December 1 in the nCUBE booth (South Hall booth 1801) and the Intertainer booth (South Hall booth #1377.) The demonstration includes an nCUBE video server delivering VOD streams to the DCT 5000, The VOD client utilizes both the HTML browser and the On Screen Display capabilities of Microsoft TV, and includes Intertainer's user interface and vast content library.
